Advanced Reports

These reports are available for people interested in taking a deeper look at the Ohio Department of Education's data.  With the advanced reports, you are able to:

  • Find data for more than one Ohio school district or building 
  • Find the "numbers behind the data"
  • Print standard reports and graphs
  • Download or save the reports on your computer
Running a report is generally a three step process:
  1. Select the type of report in which you are interested.  Reports are categorized into folders based on their content, such as "Test Results" or "Student Attendance".  Clicking on a folder will show you a list of reports inside that folder.
  2. Select the report you which to run.  Reports are typically named to indicate their content and level of detail, such as whether the data is presented at district or school level, or whether the data can be disaggregated by student demographic attributes (e.g. race or gender).  Clicking on a report name will launch the report.
  3. Answer the report's prompts.  Most reports will prompt you for some qualifying information, such as the school year(s) and district(s) you want to see on the report. Answer these prompts for information by making selections from a list box. When you have made at least one selection for each required prompt, click the "Run Report" button at the bottom of the page.
Click the "Begin" button to launch the Advanced Reports application, which will open in a new browser tab or window.
